1 Birthmother 2 Another is an offshoot of the LDS Family Services Birth Parent Support Group in Mesa, AZ. 1 Birthmother 2 Another is not a part of or officially affiliated with LDS Family Services; however it is comprised of birth mothers who attend the support group, and we do have the endorsement and support of LDSFS and FSA.
As birth mothers, we know from experience the heartache that comes with leaving the hospital empty-handed after giving birth. We also know how hard it can be to take good care of yourself afterward. We started 1 Birthmother 2 Another as a way of easing some of the pain that comes with placement. We personally deliver our care baskets to birth moms to help them feel less alone.
